"We" is just me, Blake Slemmer!  I started www.pickyourown.org a couple of years ago when I had a difficult time finding a list of pick your own farms near my home.  I quickly realized that this was a problem everywhere.  There were separate websites for some farms, a few lists from local newspapers and a few states had lists.  But there was nothing comprehensive, few were kept up to date, and many were just poorly designed. Similarly, I couldn't  find any comprehensive lists of Halloween farm activities, such as pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hayrides, and safe trick or treating.

So I felt I could help to promote and continue a healthy, fun family activity, help the farms to stay in business and perhaps earn part of a living from the advertising; all while continuing to offer the information to the general public at no cost! That led to www.pumpkinpatchesandmore.org

I'm trying to keep the advertising unobtrusive and relevant!  Help me by telling the farmers that you learned about their web site here!  That may encourage them to advertise with me and help to keep the website going!
