Tips:
- If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website or Facebook page. Click on it for the most current hours and information.
- ALWAYS email or call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO
- many farms have closed in the past year, and of course, we won't know until the season starts and we find they aren't open! Call to confirm their supply, their hours
and whether they have trees, are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees; and which attractions or winter activities are available.
All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and they don't all update me every day, let alone every year. For
more tips to make your trip fun and successful, click here
!
DON'T DRIVE OUT THERE IF YOU CAN'T REACH THEM (by phone, email or find current information on their website or Facebook page!
- And please tell the farmer you visit in South and Southwest of Atlanta (South Fulton, I-85, I75 area) Georgia that you found their farm
here! I need the farmers to realize that you found them here so that they will keep their information up to date!
If you want to provide feedback about a farm or the website

Our trees are not cut until the day you're ready to take yours
home and put it in water. We furnish the saw and a tree cart to bring
your tree in from the field. We also offer free tree cutting service for
those who don't care to cut their own. Each tree is mechanically shaken to
remove dead needles, abandoned bird nests and anything else that you don't
want in your tree. We don't use pesticides on our trees. During the hot
summer months, our trees are full of birds, ladybugs, praying mantises and
other beneficial insects. As the weather cools, the birds fly South, the
ladybugs move to the ground for warmth and after the first freeze the
praying mantises will die. They leave an egg case that will hatch next
year's praying mantis. While shaking, we inspect each tree for egg cases.
They're removed and later deposited in the trees for next year.

They sell a variety of trees, along with beautiful wreaths and fresh
mistletoe. In the ten acres of trees you will find Virginia Pines,
Leyland Cypress, White Pines, Blue Ice, Carolina Sapphire, cedars
and Green Giants. A variety of both tree types and sizes will be
seen throughout the fields because each year, new trees are planted
in the same location as the ones that were cut down. It takes
five to eight years for the tree to grow and be ready for your
families'Christmas tree. Each summer the trees are trimmed so they
will grow into the shape of a perfect tree. Some trees grow faster
than others. The Leyland Cypress can grow to be around five feet in
four to five years whereas the White Pines may take up to eight
years. A great deal of time and care goes into growing and preparing
each tree.
