Whether you want to cut your own tree, pick a live tree and have it cut for you, buy a tree already cut or buy a living tree you can plant, this page provides detailed listings of Southwestern Oregon's
choose-and-cut Christmas tree farms, places to buy pre-cut (also called pre-harvested and fresh-cut) trees, stands, sleigh rides,
hay rides and related winter events and fun.
Some listings are for tree farms, others are tree lots, and some only offer hay rides, sleigh rides or other winter events. READ EACH LISTING to know what each facility offers. The farms are listed further down this page, so scroll down the page! I'm always looking for more to add, and to correct any inaccuracies or errors, so if you encounter any,
please email me!
Tips:
- If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website. Click on it for the most current hours and information.
- ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO to confirm their supply, their hours
and whether they have trees, are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees; and which attractions or winter activities are available.
All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and I have no way of knowing, because I can't call or visit every farm every month, let alone every day. For
more tips to make your trip fun
and successful, click here! DON'T DRIVE OUT THERE IF YOU CAN'T REACH THEM BY PHONE OR EMAIL!
- And please tell the farmer you visit in Southwestern Oregon that you found their farm
here! I need the farmers to realize that you found them here so that they will keep their information up to date!

A visitor writes on December 11, 2011: "In response to
the comment from last year that they won't cut your trees for you...we just
got home from there and found them to be incredibly friendly and helpful. I
was given a handsaw but told that if I had any trouble, to flag one of them
down and they'd come over with a chainsaw. We were able to cut the tree
ourselves (that's the fun of it!) and no sooner had we yelled timber than
there was a worker there ready to help us carry it back to the wagon. They
gave free hayrides out to the various fields as they have an incredible
selection, and it's quite a hike from some of the fields. I highly recommend
this place."
A visitor writes on December 01, 2010: "We were looking for a Tree
farm that provided cutting assistance. This listing is a U cut farm, but
also said they will cut the tree for you. NOT TRUE. I tried calling first to
verify, but they only have an answering machine with basic info. We took a
chance and made the drive to this farm, but when we asked about cutting
assistance we were told no & given a saw. I have never tried to cut a tree
myself, but found out its really hard. Maybe im a wimp but, thought others
should be warned before they make the long drive to this farm. "

particular things will be good to pick in advance; We have some things not
listed and some of the listed ones are only available in small amounts. We
follow organic methods, but are not yet certified. Payment: Cash, Check. WE
do not use pesticides or fertilize much, however, most of our stuff is not
truly organic. We do a pretty good job at avoiding getting chemicals into or
onto our plants. We have a wonderful setting on The McKenzie River and close
to I-5. Our primary product is cutting flowers. We have hundreds of
varieties, often in small amounts. Dogs must be leashed or contained at all
times. We have chickens and may have eggs (u-Pick?) at times. Customer
service is often lax as we are a u-pick, have low customer numbers and low
staffing. If you want to be sure to get personal assistance, call ahead to
let us know. It is good to bring clean buckets or containers for cut
flowers. We love volunteers and have interns volunteering here quite often.
