Whether you want to cut your own tree, pick a live tree and have it cut for you, buy a tree already cut or buy a living tree you can plant, this page provides detailed listings of Birmingham and Central I-20 Area of Alabama's choose-and-cut Christmas tree farms, places to buy pre-cut (also called pre-harvested and fresh-cut) trees, stands, sleigh rides, hay rides and related winter events and fun. The farms are listed further down this page, so scroll down the page! I'm always looking for more to add, and to correct any inaccuracies or errors, so if you encounter any, please email me!

If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website. Click on it for the most current hours and information. NOTE: I cannot emphasize this enough: Please, ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO to confirm their supply, their hours and whether they are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees. All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms change hours, get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and I have no way of knowing, because I can't call or visit every farm every month, let alone every day. They also have restrooms at the snack bar. When you have selected your tree, our friendly works will get it ready for you to take home. First we shake it to get all the needles and foreign debris out of the tree. We also drill a hole in the bottom of your tree if your stand is equipped to hold the tree in this manner. We also think this helps the tree to absorb more water which is very good for the trees. Our friendly farm help will also "bail" your tree so that it is easier to transport and get into your house. Your tree is also securely tied to your vehicle so that you can safely arrive home with your purchase. We are pleased to be able to relay to you that we do not know of any incident where a customer has had any trouble getting the tree to their house.
