Whether you want to cut your own tree, pick a live tree and have it cut for you, buy a tree already cut or buy a living tree you can plant, this page provides detailed listings of Macon and central Georgia's choose-and-cut Christmas tree farms, places to buy pre-cut (also called pre-harvested and fresh-cut) trees, stands, sleigh rides, hay rides and related winter events and fun. The farms are listed further down this page, so scroll down the page! I'm always looking for more to add, and to correct any inaccuracies or errors, so if you encounter any, please email me!

If the name of the farm is blue with an underline; that's a link to their website. Click on it for the most current hours and information. NOTE: I cannot emphasize this enough: Please, ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO to confirm their supply, their hours and whether they are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees. All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms change hours, get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and I have no way of knowing, because I can't call or visit every farm every month, let alone every day. FRASER FIR: Long lasting when kept in water. Good aroma. We selected these and trucked them in from the high mountains of North Carolina.
VIRGINIA PINE: Strong limbs, good aroma, long lasting when kept in a water holding stand.
SPRUCE PINE: Dense foliage, long, soft needles. Good aroma. Average life when kept in water holding stand.
TRADITIONAL CEDAR: Dense foliage, good aroma, average life when kept in a water holding stand.
DEODORA CEDAR: Stately, resembles fir.Average life when kept in water holding stand.
LEYLAND CYPRESS: This is a fabulous new tree that everyone's talking about. Very dense foliage, never sheds. That's right, it never sheds! this is a claim that no other Christmas tree can make. Longest living of all the world's Christmas trees when kept in a water holding stand.
CAROLINA SAPPHIRE: A new tree that's bluish green in color. Dense foliage. Good aroma. Average life when kept in water holding stand.
